The 750 is actually a little faster in some cases, although it is more expensive.

I see no reason to "upgrade".

 

Maybe when the 1 TB version of the 950 is released it would take the edge, but really it wouldn't be worth the effort.  You would see no difference.

Right now, I've got a 1TB 750 Series PCI SSD and I was wondering should I upgrade to an M.2 Samsung 950 Pro SSD when it is released?

Why? It's just M.2, it's not faster by real measures... It's all PCIe interfaced.

The 750 Series is already pretty fast.

 

The 950 Pro isn't really going to give you that much of a tangible benefit - if any at all - over the Intel drive.

no, the 750 is more reliable

 

the 950 is not much faster and has overheating problems
