if you cant figure out what parts are needed to build a watercooling loop yourself, you should NOT be building a loop

you will probably mess something up and ruin your $1k PC

first, do some research and learn about all the stuff that watercooling takes

second, make sure you have the $800+ for building the actual loop

third, when you have the experience necessary, build it

Mostly just an experiment, probably wont attempt it for a while

watch singularitycomputers on youtube to learn everything there is to know about watercooling

if you cant figure out what parts are needed to build a watercooling loop yourself, you should NOT be building a loop

This is partially true. I would go on youtube and learn all about custom liquid cooling loops before trying anything yourself. JayzTwoCents has some great videos on various aspects of liquid cooling, and as Enderman mentioned, singularitycomptuers builds some insane systems and you can learn a lot from his videos.

But back to your original question, the components you will need are a CPU block, GPU block, radiator(s), pump, reservoir, and various fittings. You will also need to plan where to put everything to make sure it all fits, and to make sure all of the components will work with each other. There is nothing worse than spending hundreds of dollars on liquid cooling components only to find out that they don't fit.

Just do your research and when you feel comfortable that you can do everything, plan out your components and where to fit them all. And if you still have questions after that, i'm sure the LTT community will be glad to offer more advice.
