How Do I Copyright A Name?

Go to solution Solved by QueenDemetria,

Yeah... Weird one today... There's something that I require to be copyrighted. Any ideas on how to?

Good luck: http://www.copyright.gov/

Copyright does not protect names, titles, slogans, or short phrases. In many cases, these things may be protected as trademarks. LegalZoom can assist you in registering a trademark. However, copyrightprotection may be appropriate for logo art work that contains sufficient authorship.

googling something is not hard

try it some time

What are you trying to copyright? If it's something like the name of your YouTube channel or whatever don't bother. Copyrighting costs money.

also look into trademark

copyright would be tough as a proper name cannot be copyrighted,

but can be trademarked, but only would be region locked, unless you pursue

international trademark (very expensive and lots of lawyer involvement)
