Microphohe crashes!

When I`m playing and talking with Skype my mic randomly stops working, no one can hear me. I checked skype options, mic wasnt showing a single sign of working. After reboot it works like nothing happened, but it is annoying to reboot my pc everytime it chrashes. So what should i do? Btw. My mic is A4Tech PK-635M/K.

spell microphone right and maybe restart computer* or try switching your microphone options

I think you can but it requires unmounting the heatsink and fan and then reseating the cpu.

Enjoy those tacos now, for in 1000 years they will be illegal... eh Ha Ha Ha! I think we all know why.

Is that part of the web cam?  if so does the web cam automatically turn itself and the mic off when the camera is idle for a period of time?

 

EDIT: does the computer turn off the usb port when it's idle thus inadvertently switching the mic off?

It is Mic+Webcam in one gadget :), no camera do not turns itself and the mic off when the camera is idle. Computer doesnt turn off usb ports when they are idle. Everything works, but microphone does not. Also I tried reinstalling drivers, nothing changed
