Go to solution Solved by DXMember,

It seems that all your mentioned applications use D3D9.DLL

Do you have MSI Afterburner with On-Screen display by any chance?

If so try this one:

After upgrading to Windows 10

I've run into a problem where some of my programs won't work at all.

A small list that I've observed so far:
GTA V - crashes after a couple of seconds in Launcher during Loading loop

SteelSeries Engine 2 - crashes instantly

Zune - crashes after splash screen

One thing I've noticed they have in common - I believe they all use Direct X for GUI.

Software configuration:

Windows 10 Pro upgraded from Windows 7 Professional

Hardware configuration:

MSI X99S SLI PLUS

Intel i7-5820K

Corsair LPX 16GB 2400MHz

Sapphire Fury

Sapphire Fury

Things I've tried:

Uninstalling --> Installing SteelSeries Engine 2

Repairing GTA V

Disabling Crossfire

Replacing Zune with Groove Music

Reinstalling GPU drivers (DDU)

So far only the replacement of Zune with Groove Music helped to solve Zune crash,

unfortunately I cannot replace GTA V or SSE2

MSI Live Updated freezes after loading up GUI, Windows offers to terminate process later.

MSI Command Center locks up in an infinite Loading

Just switched the global App Detection to "None"

Awesome! It worked!

Thank you very much, I could have spent hours upon hours with this sting blaming the damn OS for nothing )))

Glad I could resolve this issue without rolling back to Win7, looking forward to Ashes of the Singularity early access this week!

And thanks again, you're the best!
