I mean, he's one of if not the biggest tech YouTuber, and uses their product.

I doubt being at the bottom of the page of a company is really significant compared to nearly 2M subs on YT

I find it odd that a channel's popularity is measured by the number of subscribers rather than the average number of views per video. A small percentage of any channel's subscribers regularly watch their videos. And if you're not watching regularly, what's the point of subscribing? Plus, there are plenty of accounts that could be subscribing to a channel that skew the number upward.

Average views seems like it would be a much more accurate representation of fan-base. And it's not a number that would be hard for YouTube/Google to calculate and display on any one's main channel page.

This is quite common for brands to use any review/overview videos made about their products. Like the reason why Arctic Toys videos have so many views.
