Ubuntu is glitchy af?

So im dualbooting win10 and the latest version of ubuntu on my surface pro. Everything is fine for 5 min and the thing just completely locks up. Ive hard restarted the thing twice and it still locks up if i go on firefox (maybe it doesnt like chrome lel) any tips or suggestions on what to do? Thanks

I would make sure that all of your drivers are up-to-date as far as possible. Are other people doing this completely fine?

Microsoft has rigged your surface to not work with Linux. Obviously.

I've heard that Ubuntu works fairly well but not perfectly on Surfaces. I'm not an expert in Linux, but I'd recommend checking this video out:

 

It's a bit of a long video, but Wendell from TekSyndicate is a master when it comes to Linux so he knows what he's talking about.

I actually couldn't underclock my 5 year old GPU to make it as slow as a next-gen console.
