So where is the 380X aka the 280X aka the 7970?

Thought it was going to be out already. Want one to play with. Hoping Asus has the balls to release a matrix version

Title is wrong, 380X is going to be a different architecture than the 280X/7970. Tahiti is over.

Semantics. Tonga is pretty much an optimized version of Tahiti

So either AMD is too cheap to let us X-fire our old cards or they're dissimilar enough to not let them be compatible.

380X is Tonga XT, 280X is Tahiti XT - big differences :P
