Using discrete gpu while plugged into motherboard?

Go to solution Solved by tbroadwater2010,

my monitor broke, so I'm using an older one that only supports VGA...and I don't want to buy any adapters xD

Unfortunately your gonna have to buy an adapter. they are cheap! Either that or a new monitor! I think the adapter will be just a tad cheaper! xD

Just go get the adapter!

Hi, I don't have a VGA output on my GPU so I connected it to the motherboard output. But I also want to use the power from my GPU to play games. I wanted to install lucid logix to do so but it doesn't support windows 10, is there any alternative software that will let me achieve what I want?

Thanks.

Not that I am aware of. Either buy an adapter or, if your monitor supports it, use a different cable (HDMI/DVI)

I've built 3 PC's, but none for myself... In fact, I'm using an iMac that my dad bought for me as my desktop. Awkward...

Please don't say "SSD drive." By doing so, you are literally saying "Solid State Drive Drive" and causing my brain cells to commit suicide. The same applies to HDD (Hard Disk Drive) and PCIe (Peripheral Component Interconnect Express).
