Needs VoIP/improved communication in the final release. Anyone know if that's planned?

It's really fun, but massively imbalanced on certain missions which scares me for later maps, and missing a single player really really kills my joy at the beauty of the game (esp the backgrounds and sounds)

I was playing the beta last night and in the course of an hour I got to play as Luke Skywalker, pilot a Tie Fighter, an X-Wing, an AT-ST and an AT-AT. My surround sound was filled with the sounds of my childhood and my eyes were filled with all the details of the Star Wars Universe. I had so much fun, even when I was doing terrible. I can't say that about most games. This beta was freaking awesome.

The gun play is extremely fun. Many commented that the game is soulless as it drifted off from its series. I just bought Battlefront 2 from GOG and I will be playing it just to see it for myself.

Once again, it's probably me.

I'm with you on that, further more it feels like a dumbed down version of Battlefield.

and we will live such tragedy in perpetuity.

I am having a blast with tge beta. Sure there are balancing issues with certain items and the powerup system in Hoth makes no sense. But, I am having a blast. As people learn to play, I don't even think the empire has the upper hand at hoth. Ao far I managed to win as the rebels more times than I lost. And the times I have lost it has to do with most team members looking for frags instead of focusing on the objective. I for one only care about damaging AT-ATs when the time is right and when a couple of people do it the empire ends with a bloody nose. Sure I die a lot (they have to pry the controls of the anti tank turrets from my cold dead Handa!) but in a match we managed to get rid of one of the beasts at the first checkpoint.

So, great fun :)

graphics are GREAT but gameplay is boring and repetitive, but thats coming from a CS:GO elitest :)
