Why dony you just write up what optimisatios you have? instead of wasting peoples time and doing them one by one

What kind of solutions do you intend to suggest? Just out of curiosity :)

Well he can't mean making them into a soldering iron can he? Or a getto stove? Or maybe a kettle that can connect to the internet?

Edit: I need to find a cheap motherboard,I just gave myself some ideas for my 631-though I'd rather do something to another 630.

I already have a hometheatre PC. It has 2x Pentium III EB1000, Abit VP^, 5 port USB 2.0 card, 2GB SDRAM, 2x 250GB HDD in RAID 0, an 80GB 7200RPM boot HDD, Soundblaster Live 5.1-which beats all modern on board audio still, a TV tuner card (which needs a set top box), a DVD drive, a Geforce 6200 for its decoder, and a CD drive which doubles as a standalone CD player due to the time it was manufactured. Pentium 4 are only worth overclocking the crap out of or projects that can use loads of heat.

 

Edit: It also has a 300MBPs dualband wireless card and an Intel 100MBps NIC.

Pentium 4 are only worth overclocking the crap out of or projects that can use loads of heat.

 

You know what sucks? For my socket 478 P4 I have a locked board(LiteON-HP), so I cant even do that lol. At least my 775 stuff is overclockable...

To keep your temps down from 40 to 60 celcius is a good idea as it significantly improves performance.

I'm going to rejuvenate my P4 build with a home-made flamethrower. Or I could just use a Thermalfake PSU and let physics do the rest.

@sgtheadhole each P4 mobo hAs different abilities and each will be a different case.

@Asulenovcer this is a legit problem as many people still have their P4's
