Need a computer for my dad

Go to solution Solved by Coombzy,

Ok first of all I'm to lazy to put it together since I really don't like to do it in the first place so this is asking for a pre built one sadly or this wouldn't be a problem. Yeah make fun of me all you want.

Anyway my dad knows 0 about it and would buy anYthing even alienware.

For some reason he wanted to play gta all of a sudden. His pc is ancient. Has a 550 ti and some shitty amd processor which cannot handle gta even on min.

So I'm looking for something to max to mid settings on hopefully 1080p for 700-1000$

CPU: i9 19300k////GPU: RTX 4090////RAM: 64gb DDR5 5600mhz ////MOBO: Aorus z790 Elite////MONITORS: 3 LG 38" 3840x1600 WIDESCREEN MONITORS

Challenge accepted.

A 750Ti and an i3? And a non branded PSU? H81 mobo? For over 800 bucks?

You may be able to find laptops with a similar or better price to performance, especially used.

He said 1000$ max, those parts alone cost 1000$, then the cost of assembling it.

You configure it with what you want...

Yes, but it's already really expensive. So if you step up to a 960 (which is not all that powerful a card for a desktop) and a non-overclockable core i5, and then add an SSD (because this is 2015) you are at 1100USD. That's just unreasonable.

Even Alienware offers better price/performance with the X51, which would be about 20 bucks cheaper than that thing with the i5, plus it would be in a far nicer and smaller case.

Hey OP, if you can somehow find a Medion Akoya system... I find their price/performance is pretty good. For €850 (usually German prices are vastly higher than US prices so you may be lucky) they get you an i5 4460 and a GX 960, and even throw in both a hard drive and an SSD.
