Which Processor Should I Choose?

Okay so I plan on upgrading my PC very soon and I am not really sure of what CPU I should get. I play games from time to time but that isn't really my main concern. I want a CPU that can handle the workload when I start to record. I will mainly be recording console gameplay (I know I'm horrible) through the Elgato Game Capture(1080p 60fps), Audio through Audacity, Webcam through Logitech's Recording software, and also be running some process in the background. I will from time to time also be recording PC games so that is still a concern but not a major one, mainly because my graphics card I believe will be the major factor with that.

So not trying to start an AMD vs Intel war but I need get opinions on what CPU would be best for my situation. I will be multitasking quite a bit. My main concern is getting a CPU that will get the job done for near the lowest price possible. I don't mind going a little over but I don't want to go overkill for what I actually need.

So to the main question, should I go with an AMD fx 8 Core Processor that is Cheaper, or a Intel i7 or i5 4 Core processor.

With this all being said I would prefer to spend the least amount of money to get the job done but I want to be sure that the CPU will be able to achieve my needs for recording.

I would prefer to stay in the under $300 price range!

The CPUs that I have currently been looking at are the AMD FX 8370 and the Intel i5 4590

Note: I will be purchasing the CPUs through Amazon, because I have Prime and I save money and get free 2 day shipping through Amazon.

I will be using Skype, Chrome, while recording gameplay, audio, and webcam. When not recording I will also be using Skype, Chrome, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, and sometimes other programs. Most of the time I will have a lot if not all of these programs open or at least need them open.

i5, you'll need to OC the living crap out of the AMD cpu and you'll probably not have the patience or money to build a custom loop.

FX is well suited for rendering and editing. I had a 8320 myself which sat at 4.52GHz at around 1.4625 volts.... It OCd 900Mhz on stock voltages.. so 4.4Ghz... had to increase voltage A LOT to get 4.52GHz though...

i would suggest the 8370e... however bear in mind, buying a better binned chip is not indicative of OC headroom.... many 8370e's are "high strung" and takes a lot of fine tuning to hit higher clock speeds.

for motherboard, BE SURE TO GET A PROPER 8+2 PHASE BOARD FOR FX OCING..

cheapest option is the Gigabyte 970 UD3P. IT MUST BE THE "UD3P" no other variation of that board is 8+2....

A more expensive but better option is a 990FX board... like the Asus 990FX Sabertooth R2.... expensive, but damn damn good.
