Go to solution Solved by Ssoele,

XHTML is a sub-HTML standard based upon HTML 4.01 and XML.

PHP is a programming language, mostly used on Linux/Unix webservers.

ASP is the Microsoft counterpart of PHP.

I can't really find what these are used for: Xhtml PHP and Active Server Pages (ASP),

and i just need like 1-2 sentences

Thank you so much

Do your own homework you lazy.....

Grammar nazis are people too!
Treat your local grammar nazi nicely and he might teach you a thing or two. (Note that I'm Belgian and not a native English speaker.)
Chivalry isn't dead!

To be even more specific, PHP is a .... wait, why would I do your homework for you?

And yes, there is far more to it than what ssoele described, there is also far more fundamentally to it than that.  While his statement is basically correct in some ways, it's wrong in others.  My suggestion would be that if this is in fact homework that you go study rather than cheat on forums.

(It's one thing to ask for a lesson or get information, it's another to blatantly ask someone to write up your homework for you so you don't have to think or write a summary.)
