AMD is fine if you're ok with cards running at 90+C with the audible output of several jet engines.

I prefer Nvidia however. Almost always have better performance, support and longevity. Plus Geforce experience, shadow play, and easy OC's with afterburner or precisionX are always great.

I've never been disappointed with any of the Nvidia cards I've purchased. I cannot say the same about my AMD purchases.

My MSI 390 outperforms the Galax 970 HOF i had, runs cooler and overclocks better, if i had to choose between the 2 cards he mentioned then yes i would go for the 980 ti, but if you go down the line a bit, AMD cards starts to match or outperform NVIDIA cards in the same price range. Just saying that any AMD card is crap because you had a bad experience doesnt make much sense.

I laughed so hard reading that first line

Why not ASUS?

I just think the other brands offer more overclocking, lower temps etc.

But that's my personal opinion :P

I personally prefer EVGA or Gigabyte over ASUS.
