Posted October 5, 2015 Hey guys i'm trying to choose parts for my frist pc build for games and i'm struggling with the processor choice. I've decided so far to go with an asus strix gtx 970 oc 4gb card. But i'm divided between going for an i5, like the 4690k, or for the i7 4790k. In terms of pc longevity, will it make much of a difference in playing experience with current or near future games, going with the i5 over the i7? If not, is it better to go with new 6600k (and new skt 1151 components) or the 4690k (or other) is fine? Thanks a lot in advance!
