Since upgrading to El Capitan the other day, I haven't had such a bad experience with an Apple Operating system in like for ever. Battery life increased? Yeah right! Battery life is far worse than before. I am using a 15 Inch Retina MacBook Pro which I was getting over 6 hours at 100% but not I only get 4 hours! 

 

Apple, Apple, Apple - I think this is a bad Apple!

Are you new? well, is it a fresh install or does it still have all the software? cause that could add to the problems.... cause i have the 2015 MacBook Pro 15 inch retina with maxed out specs and i can get 8 and a half to 10 hours on a full charge.

I like Computer Stuffs. Have you tried unplugging it and plugging it in again? Automation Expert (Bots, scripts, etc)! Add me on Xbox Live: JollyPlanet449 And on Steam!: Baxtmann Wanshow.tips is a cool place too

I have HP 4540s and had MAC OS X YOSEMITE 10.10.5 fresh install, then i upgraded to El capitan and i get about 15-30 minutes less battery life. Now it's about 3 hours. I think i'll do fresh install El capitan. Battery wise windows is best choice. It has the best power management system!

Computer users fall into two groups:
those that do backups
those that have never had a hard drive fail.

if nothing prevails, try finding software that manages battery life,itll tell you what is using battery life

I wouldn't blame solely the OS but even if it was that OS was just released, give it some time.
