I play it. Quite enjoyable. I do all the pve quests though...veteran rank 2 and haven't done any PVP.

I have it, honestly it's a hell of a lot better with TU.

 

It's still got some issues that I'd like to see fixed, but imo it's one of the better MMORPGs out on the market.

I've played Elder Scrolls Online since the open beta weekends and from my experience, it came a long way from what it is during the beta stages.

 

I was disappointed that the game was a monthly based subscription when it was recently released but after months had passed they announced Tamriel Unlimited, I just could not hesitate on getting the game once the update releases.

 

The game still has some PVE quest bugs but although I'm not sure if it's fixed by now as I just skipped that quest and moved to another one.

It is fun and enjoyable, but it is not worth playing until they remove Veteran Ranks.

I've played a couple hours after buying it for $15. Not a bad MMO, but from what I've played so far I don't think it's worth the full asking price.

 

Maybe wait for a sale? GW2 just released a F2P mode with some fair restrictions, you and your friends could try that and if you like the game enough you can buy the game+expansion package for $50. But you can play till max level in the F2P mode, the restrictions are mostly communication in world chat and whatnot since they don't want millions of spammer accounts.

I actually have GW2 already.

 

But I like ES and I want an action based MMO I can play with a friend.

I'm looking at wildstar or guild wars 2 since they both went free to play, can't decide which one though.

Wildstar is nothing like Guild wars.

The combat system is like a combo of WoW and GW2
