I have a steelseries apex and is really happy with it. But I would also say that the the corsair K70 series is good, and the CM storm ones

Can't go wrong with a K70, but I love my CM Storm Quickfire Ultimate. Built like a tank, weighs about as much as one too. Both of these are solid picks :)

I love my K70. The membranes on my last keyboard wore out in like 6 months, I was super pissed off when the W key pretty much stopped working.

I have the Cooler Master Rapid-i and IMO Its a great keyboard, heck, I'm 99.9999959% sure you could kill a man with it and it would still work afterwards. As to if Mechanical is better, mechanical is nice, but its not something you need if you know what I mean, it feels nice but is it an extra £50 nice? I'm not too sure if you can put that money into any other better upgrade for you system.

I like to feel a click when I'm gaming, so I'd go with something with MX Cherry Clear switches. Maybe a Pok3r since there's more room for the mouse.

Clears don't give you a click. That's an audible thing. Clears give you a bump :)

(I have a pok3r with clears on order from massdrop at the moment, along with a second aluminum case and two sets of keycaps.)

1) Yeah. Bump. That's what I meant. Clears are great.

I've never actually tried them before... My last keyboard was a red switch board, and I hate those... I knew I liked Browns, so I figured I would try clears. Blues seem to make my typing less accurate than Browns for no discernable reason...

I have a switch tester. Clears feels heavier as it is, but you can feel the bump a lot more. It's not scratchy like browns.

Yeah. I also got in the group but for the "project zealio" switches over on gh. Can't wait to replace the clears with lubed purple zealios. I might even sticker them, since the housing is clear. Get a little more purple on the board :)

Give me a link to a white backlight one if ya find it!

Just get a k70rgb and set it to white? Corsair never made any white specific led boards, although you could solder your own whites onto the board...

I only said white cuz I'm getting their 760T Artic White case and although I'm replacing the fans with Spectre Pro's, I'm keeping the white color scheme. Looks sexy af imo

Shipping sucks

Why not get a white pok3r or white backlit pok3r?

Sorry for being off topic, but...

do clears feel significantly heavier than blues? Because I have browns, would like some more resistance but would like to avoid the click because there's people I might annoy. But I've heard that clears are more comparable to greens..

Greens have an actuation force of 80 grams. Clears have one of 65, if I'm not mistaken, so they should have just what you're looking for. If you want something with more of a tactile bump, but the same actuation force, you could always set yourself up a board with ergo clears.

Oh yeah, just checked some sheet, it looks like clears are basically tactile blacks, and from having tried blacks I found myself thinking 'man, that's perfect, but I hate linear'. Thanks!

G710+, not rgb, just white led. Its a plastic keyboard but it is solid as f***. In their video it also got run over by a tank (and survived) sooo yeah. Im really happy with it, wouldn't change for anything atm.

Filco Majestouch. Because you don't need anything more than a simplistic keyboard for gaming. I mean, it's a keyboard, it's not exactly like it needs to be as precise as a gaming mouse.
