Really hoping I have this in the right section.

I'm saving up to start upgrading my set-up, not really sure on how to prioritize those upgrades though. I've put days into thinking about this and I'm honestly stuck. I'm a month to two months from doing any of the three, upgrading again wouldn't be feasible until late winter.

1) I could replace my membrane keyboard for a mechanical. The advantage is my keyboard is probably the weakest link in my whole set-up, and it's possibly the cheapest to upgrade. But it really hasn't affected me to a degree where it makes it hard to ignore.

2) Since I plan on crossfiring another 290, that was the plan with my build, I could get a second. The advantage is the Vapor-x is like hens teeth to find only months after I purchased mine, I didn't see that coming. So I could guaranty having matching GPUs.  Disadvantage is I really don't need it.

3) I could get a second monitor. Advantage, two monitors. Disadvantage, no idea how my GPU would react and as I said everything is working perfectly.

4) My build is in my profile, or if requested I can list it here. So any other suggestions would be appreciated. But no Don, I won't change my PSU. That stays. :P

If anyone asks you never saw me.

1) If it's cheap and would make your experience better (which it will) go for it.

2) Do you need them extra frames (course ya do)? Also consider heat output.

3) Your GPU shouldn't spaz out over a second monitor, and if you want it for productivity reasons go ahead.

4) Nice build.

Really hoping I have this in the right section.

Should post it here for sure.

Well, I don't really find mechanical keyboards worth it after having used one for a year, granted the 40 dollar difference between a cheap one and a decent membrane is equal to 8 Pizzas.

If you wanted to get 2 290s, you'd need to upgrade your PSU anyways.

But there's no point to that unless you're trying to game at 4k or 144hz 1440p

I'd say just get a nice 4k monitor like

Or a 144Hz 1440p panel, if you play a lot of competitive multiplayer games like CS:GO, or maybe dota.

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

I honestly see no reason for you to upgrade any of these your build seems good and mechanical keyboards are overrated, #2 is the only one I see as beneficial but that's just an opinion.

1)That's just it, if I'm going to make the jump I'm looking to spend 140-160 bucks. Never having used a mechanical that's a bit intimidating when the membrane works.

2)I got more case fans than a politician has excuses LOL. Like I said, I will xfire at some point.

3)Cool

4)Thanks!

I used to use a membrane keyboard then I got my K70, my fingers jizzed.

My vote goes towards the mechanical keyboard. It allows you to improve your experience without affecting anything else.

Crossfiring the 290s is fine, but if you don't really need it, then there really isn't any reason to do so.

Getting a second monitor is really good for office productivity, but not for gaming. It'll still run off of one graphics card, so it will definitely work.

Adults are just kids with bigger wallets.
