Sound Card

Evolved_Evil

I don't really have too much information on Sound Cards. I've been wanting to get one, but I am not too sure which one is good or isn't.

I play games and listen to music evenly so their isn't much bias on that.

For gaming I have A40s and for music i use my studio beats by dre

Let me know which one is recommended, thanks :)

edit: also, id prefer if there was a fiber optic output for my A40s :D thanks

your motherboard has sufficient audio. you wont be needing a sound card as most motherboards these days come with amazing audio that can match a sound card.

You should buy whatever you like the sound of. We might make fun of you for liking beats, but that doesn't mean you should get something you don't enjoy.

Still, to answer your original question, you do not need a soundcard. It would largely be pointless.
