It's amd, you're kinda stuck. Plus, amds usually run crazy hot anyway

stop spreading the rumours

#competitionisgreenwithenvy

And back on topic, yes it is safe to run your cards at whatever temperature they are running.

If they run too hot, integrated self protection will turn on and drop the clockrates to cool down or turn off the system long before any permament damage may occur..

okay?

Yeah, but its also my bad air flow.

My old GPU was 10 degrees warmer than in my old case

Trust me. Cooler = shit. Keep in mind I was getting the same temps with GOOD flow. If you have one of the reference ones, I can actually recommend you try to grab a 7950 with the TwinFrozr III cooler. Even though it technically has less fin surface area (it's just smaller all over), it is a temperature beast.

You gotta be kidding? They're 3 reference 580s, and overclocked balls to the wall. If I slapped in 2 more 980s and overclock them I'm sure I could cook a fucken egg off of it... That video is so stupid

I own 2 xfx 7950 dd cards, neither one of them went above 81c at full load. In crossfire the top one stayed right around 81c and the bottom card never went above 76c. I gave one to my wife and she water cooled it. The card never goes above 48c now at full load. I always liked the xfx 7950s, both mine over clock very well too, the black edition over clocks 1225 on the core clock and 1700 on the memory clock and the dd non black edition flashed to a black edition over clocks 1200 on the core and 1645 on the memory.

I don't have good air flow.

I'll be getting an MSI 7950 with water block
