I'm so confused. I have had a lot of people say that the gtx 970 is a better choice over the gtx 980, however all the big youtubers, streamers and gamers seem have either 1 or 2 gtx 980s. This makes me think that it is a good choice. The only comparison videos I could fine were from a while ago so I was wondering if someone could help me here. Is the gtx 980 worth buying? (I know the r9 390 is better than the gtx 970 but I'm keeping it all nvidia for simplicity)

Both of them make no sense since an r9 390 has better price to performance than a 970, an r9 390x performs the same as the 980 for 100$ less, and the r9 fury performs considerably better than a 980 for the same price.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

The fury is 550 the 980 is 475 the price changed
