Using crossfire in Skyrim? Every time i enable it it just crashes my game.....

My rig: Case: Corsair 760T CPU: Intel 4690k MOBO: MSI Z79 Gaming 5 RaM: 16gb HyperX SSD: 256gb Samsung pro HDD: 1tb Toshiba PSU: Thermaltake smart 750 GPU: 1x GTX 1080 Founders edition

Skyrim and crossfire don't like eachother... I would just stick with one card because even if you get it to work, there will be more problems than you can fix.

Slightly better than crossfire but not really.

Been using two R9 290s to play Skyrim for a while and haven't had any problems.

i7 4790K || R9 290X + R9 290 || 16GB G.Skill TridentX 1866 || Gigabyte Z97MX Gaming 5 || Crucial MX100 256GB || WD Caviar Blue 1TB

Skyrim and crossfire work totally fine dont know what others are smoking...Maybe a mod you have installed?

My mod list is like 130 mods long.... but i guess that is a possibility maybe i will go through and disable everything see if it works then

Yah 130 mods ,that'll do it.. Funny how the people saying crossfire don't work have nvidia gpus.. :rolleyes:

Well ive actually heard SLI works fine on it for whatever reason, but yeah.
