High CPU Temps w/ Corsair Hydro H110

Go to solution Solved by Zeke,

I assume those are temps under load. Have you overclocked the CPU? Is the pump working?

Hello guys, so my cpu is reaching temps over 90c+

Cooler: Corsair Hydro H110,

CPU: i7-5820K,

Case: Corsair 350D

I do have thermal paste on and 2 intake fans for the radiator.

Does anyone have any idea why it does it?

Any unknown button should be pressed even number of times.

Do you have an alternative air cooler that you can try it out with instead? If so, replace it and see what you get.

The cpu reaches these temps on idle after 15 min.

I was also thinking about if the pump is working, how can I check it?

plug the pump header on motherboard where it says CPU_FAN1

the pump should make any kind of sound and have a vibration to it if you touch it.

the board should not post if the pump is dead and pluged in CPU_FAN1
