Does my PSU have enough A for my gpu?

Chris_M

These are the parts i've ordered:
-Deepcool Tesseract Mid Tower Case
-Intel Core i7 6700
-MSI GeForce GTX 970 Gaming (4GB)
-Sandisk 240GB Sata SSD
-Kingston 8GB DDR4 Ram
-Thermaltake LitePower 750W Power Supply
-MSI B150M Bazooka Motherboard

Now the GTX 970, at max load, apparently requires 28A, except the Litepower psu is only capable of dishing out 26A (to my knowledge). This PC is gonna be for heavy gaming, I wanna be able to play new release tittles at max graphics. Also I'm not planning on overclocking my pc, ever. Will this build be alright? Thanks in advance!

Amps aren't that important. You look at how many PCIe connectors the card needs, and how many connectors the PSU has. Remember that 6+2 pins can act as both 6 pin and 8 pin connectors, so don't cut off the extra 2 pins

One day I will have my GTX 970. One day. PC specs are at my profile.

You're gonna poop bricks if you have that mentality on a 295x2. Or unless you want a house fire. Lol
