if "all 4K monitors" have DP, we really need a gpu with HDMI 2.0 ?

CPU = A10 6800K (@4.3Ghz) / GPU = HD 8670D (@844mhz/ram@1866mhz) - 2016 ≠ Dual Cores - why learn Linux ? - OLD intel x4 cpu (Q6600) + amd HD 7950 - this is what i think on watts x dollar cost - CPU "bottlenecks" only start to show "at the super high end cards" (like the 390) if you have a 4 cores CPU

For use with a pc monitor, no. But for a HTPC, it is important, as very few TVs have a DP port.

DP can do 4k@60fps as far as i know  :rolleyes:

4k TVs ?... all have DP i think

But there are few if any tv that has DP.

Very few 4K TVs have Display Port and DP1.2 to HDMI2.0 adapter will cost around $150.

It can, but TV's don't have DP. Honestly HDMI 2.0 isn't that big of a deal, there are a small amount of people that actually own 4K TV's(relatively when compared to 1080p TV's), and the amount of people that plug their PC into a 4K TV is even smaller.

TVs are female to you? Anyway, it's much harder to find a TV that does support it than one who doesn't.

It would be pointless to list 95% (or more) of all 4K TVs out there.
