CSGO, Minecraft, Sim City?

Just remember: Random people on the internet ALWAYS know more than professionals, when someone's lying, AND can predict the future.

cities:skylines

its best described as "simcity without EA"

its kind of the same concept, but from a radically different angle.

EDIT: free time in university, or "free time" in university and fail? i'm talking from experience here :P (although i blame the teachers and 20 year old books...)

I learnt that SA hates crossfire and/or my laptop's GPU

SA hates anything that tries to *work*

Indies, eh? Best I've played recently are:

Darkest Dungeon (mind you, dark-souls-like difficulty curve; starts out hard, becomes easier with time)

Faster Than Light

Space Pirates and Zombies

Hammerwatch

Risk of Rain (this is horribly addictive for me)

Catacomb Kids

Azure Striker Gunvolt (nice mega-man feeling)

Endless Dungeon

Child of Light

Ori and The Blind Forest (actually relatively graphic intensive, but worth a try anyway)

That said, some of the older titles stated here are definetly worth trying, so don't just opt out of them because they're not new anymore :)
