Wireless headphones audio quality

Audio quality will depend on the headphone though wireless will inherently have potential static due to minor interference thus lowering the quality unless you live in the middle of nowhere also bandwidth may limit the quality as transmission takes quite a bit of power. Now as for good headphones idk as there are too many and it really comes down to price

Quality ? get Sennheiser its wired

Yeah sennheiser is cool

but concerning my question, Is there a difference in audio quality between wired and wireless headphones ?

If you've got nothing currently, I'd get a FIIO E10K and some ATH-M50s. That'd give you really good audio quality for the price.

I have headphones

But I moved and got a new job, and will have to do some Km everyday to go to work

so I am considering buying a wireless

Is there a difference in audio quality between wired and wireless headphones ?

Are you actually unaware of sennheisers offerings, or just pretending to be? They offer a full line of wireless headphones.

@op, as far as quality goes: any bluetooth under 4.0 had bandwidth issues, so you missed out on full fidelity. Bluetooth 4.0 supposedly doesn't have these issues. There are proprietary wireless systems (like what sennheiser uses) that don't have those issues, so it really depends. However, those proprietary wireless solutions are bulky and generally require a base station.

Dollar for dollar, wireless headphones will be inferior to a wired headphone because you are paying for the wireless, DAC and amp in addition to the headphone itself.

However, in absolute terms, wireless headphones are not necessarily any worse than wired. It's just a matter of paying enough to get a good quality model.

So you are telling me that if I get a Bluetooth above 4.0 I'll be fine ? ^^

What do you mean by base station ? ^^

thx again

Any good idea ? I don't really mind the price
