Hi! i am new on cs go and when i played the first 10 win i became a gold nova master and i am wondering where i can see how many points or wins i will need in order to rank up.

You rank up based on wins, get a win streak going against people that are your skill level and you will probably rank up.

You won't ever see that, but in general upto MGE, you need 3 wins in a row with lot's of MVP's, MGE+ 4-5, and LE+ 5-10.

You'll likely be Silver I and you have to get higher ranks

 

There is no "Points" to get a higher rank just SKILL

they dont show you that and whether you rank up also depends on your position on the leaderboard and the rank of players you are going against

You can actually rank up on a loss and rank down on a win. It's based on how well you play and what the ranks of the other team members are.

Regardless, your rank isn't directly tied to your wins/losses but rather how well/badly you do.

I lost DMG on a win, bottom fragged with 2MVP (was really tired)

It also depends highly on what skill rank your playing

Like if Im DMG and 5 man queue with my silver friends and lose, odds are Im gonna get a derank no matter what performance I put up

Yeah, well, you could get deranked even if you win in that situation if you don't do well enough.

So... by points then... like maybe this? He does say however the new update might render this moot but there must be some form of elo system or else the ranking would be a load of crap. I did rank up on a tied game with a lot of points and I got my MGE back from MG2 in 2 games through top fragging 60points plus each game.
