We all have seen huge battles on it and we will be seeing it in the future too. I have used iOS and I am still using right now. It isn't bad after jail breaking. Android users often complain that there is no customisibility on iOS even Linus himself stated that. Yes there is cutomisibilty,you can put themes on it.in short words,it isn't bad! I am actually enjoying it.

Jailbreaking = not customizing 

its not a natural part.

Jailbreak kind of = no longer iOS, since that isnt the native platform as it ships to the user

 

 

I still prefer iOS to android, since I dont give 2 shits about customization

You can customize alot of things on Android with out any kind of root or anything. You have to break your warranty just to customize a little bit..

I'll get my point in though. I love Samsung, LG, ect. I hate android.

I only hate IOS because you can't get free stuff on it. For a phone since I don't game much on my phone so I guess its fine. I'm sure there are other ways to get free music. Yet no for an ipad. I love the build quality and how bright the screen is. Best tablet I've seen yet I actually game on my tablet.

Android doesn`t require to be rooted for changing themes :D. Any way you can`t overclock or flash modefied roms with ios, but you can with android.

Bro, in android you can root the mobile and do whatever the fuck we want. Not just change themes. That thing, even my Nokia would do (6 year old)

I'm less about customization and more about features

Multiwindow

FQrouter

Equalizers

Super detailed camera apps

Adblock if I wanted it

Replaceable batteries and expandable storage (sadly a dying trend)

Amoled displays

Use my phone as a web server

Also don't have to pay $800 for a phone I can pay as little as I want

Etc etc

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

This thread is going to get locked for sure but anyways; iOS does not offer "heavy" customization out of the box compared to Android, you would need to jailbreak your iDevice to get access to start the customization process.

I like Windows Mobile even more because now, with Developer Mode, you can side-load registry tweaking apps. Phablet UI on a 5" screen FTW.

iOS is more optimized, Android is more customizable.  That's how I see it.
