980 ti classified (back plate)

So I'm coming to the conclusion that the 980 ti I'm going to buy is the classified. I can't seem to find just the reference cooler SC by EVGA anywhere. Is the 980 classified backplate and cooler the same?

The 980 ti classified should come with a backplate, not sure if the 980 backplate fits.

Oh ok cool. Thanks guy. I haven't gotten a new graphics card in about 5 years. Time to upgrade. My last card was a 660ti from gigabyte.
