The Strix 960 has one DVI, one HDMI and three display port connectors. If your monitor doesn't have the right input then you can get a converter to change one of the connectors on the card to the right connector type so you can use it with your monitor.

can this graphic card work on an 1680x1050 resolution monitor?

Of course, so long as it has the right connectors or you have converters to convert to the right outputs for the card.

it says DDR5 does that mean that if my motherboard doesent have DDR5 i cant use it?

GPU RAM has nothing to do with the motherboard. GPU's use GDDR5(or older versions) or HBM memory and motherboards use DDR3 and DDR4.
