8-Bit Ninja
Go to solution Solved by PCEnthusiastLuke,

balls, any recomdations for a good sli motherboard, id like it to be sub £110 if possible

The MSI gaming series is a good choice, specifically the MSI gaming 5

I recently bought a second Gtx 970 to put into my system, but when i tried to put them in sli only one card is detected, iv tried replacing the sli bridge and swaping the cards to all of pcie sockets, nothing, both cards work fine iv tested them both on there own

Can we get a list of other specs?

Is your motherboard SLI-certified?

Have you tested the PCIe slots with a single card as well?

Crosshair IV is only Crossfire certificated, so SLI won't work on it. Also, Crosshair IV is an AMD board
