Good card if you want to put a waterblock on it since it is probably a reference card but not a good card if you plan to use this cooler for overclocking. Not a bad deal if you don't intend to overclock and want a great performing card.

bad cooler or not, its $15 more than a 7870, that is a huge difference in performance per dollar even at stock clocks. I definitely wouldn't have a problem recommending this to people who don't know too much about PCs and want to get into PC gaming or people on a tight budget.

well the reason being is because most people who would by the card are people who plug-in play, most people here care about overclocking capability

It's like 30-40 bucks for a aftermarket cooler. That's 50 bucks less.
