Building a budget PC, which GPU should I pick?

I saw an R7 260X in the store near my house and it was being sold for about $95, I did some research and it has the same performance as the HD 5850 back from 2010/2009. I found an HD 5850 in good condition, being sold for $50. Which one should i pick? Please post the things to consider in both of these graphics cards, power consumpion, performance, heat output, etc.

If you're willing to go for used cards, why not something like 7850/7870

Just some basic comparison, the 260x has two times the ram, can overclock further than the 5850, and consumes around 50w less. If anyone believes some of my information is wrong, please do correct me :)
