What better to do when a cpu is so old it has no more use.

Well this i guess.

I've seen someone doing a similar repurposing, I think he used it as a necklace. I like the idea of wall-mounting old GPU / Motherboard though.

I have my old Asus Rampage Extreme III + I7-960 + 15gb DDR3 Dominator GT up on my wall :D. I have my even older Asus Pk5-C as well.

Performs way wayyyy better than my current PC!

Wonder how well my wall would overclock...

Shove some copper heatpipes in the wall and who knows. The possibilities are endless.

long story short <-- heh pun..... My Logitech G19 keyboard crossed the mains supply to the USB supply and blew a hole in the mobo killing everything attached to it.

terrible.

Pentium D isn't single core, it's the very first dual core from Intel. The successor to the Pentium 4. I see you got the 2nd gen Pentium D 945. I have the 820.

nah my server and folding computer is running a core 2 duo E7500. 2 gigs of ddr2 LOOLOL, and an ati radeon 4650. Yup. its that smooth.

It just says Pentium 4 and the ghz. 

wait theres some tiny kinda code thingy here, odd for a cpu name but. 1M/800/04A i know the 04 stands for 2004 as thats the date code after the intel name as well but a google search of the code doesnt really bring up much.
