Can I ask how you protected the interior of the pci slots (etc.) when painting?

Can I ask how you protected the interior of the pci slots (etc.) when painting?

i didn't. the paint chips off when things are inserted into it. hind sight. i would have plugged them with cardboard like i did here. for the black and gray one i did have to scrape 3/4 of the painted ram dimms to get them to register. the pci dimms worked right away

Update / h2o Part 1

for this build im going dual loop. one quad rad for the 5960x and one quad rad for the two Titan X's

to push the coolant i went with the trusty d5 pumps and topped them up with OCOOL black acetal pump tops.

i'll be using 2 x Coolgate 480 rads. ive been using one for a few years now and its been pretty solid. i only shot one for this group because the other is in use. (dont mind the 360 that was an original plan but since has been changed)

you can see where and how i taped everythig up

i think its just regular d5 pump, with vario control.

and I'm painting it because my theme is canada which is white and red not black and red so I'm painting the black white and the PCB is black so I need to paint it white, and I really don't like the look of a mobo cover but if that's my only choice I'll do it and by the way can't wait for the build to finish gotta see the sexy finished product :D

tbh i havent either lol. i belive it offers software control for everything hooked up to it. its a fan controller in an nut shell but its also capable of controlling your pumps and all that.

i'll be running the 4 sets of 4 fans to it so i can control the speed/loudness.
