Good white USB controller?

Basically that anyone know of a good whit usb controller...?  Need to pick on up for a few emulator games that don't feel right with a keyboard.  

 

Max Budget $50 

Can't resemble a microsoft controller, I hate it so much

Why? You could probably use a 360 controller. All other controllers are really clunky and stiff and crap. Unless it's expensive to get a PS3 controller for yourself?

ok I'll get a ps3/4 controller then, is there any issue with connecting them to pc??  I can get either or but I don't want to run into a problem

Not really. Just use look up connecting PS3 or PS4 controller to PC using SCP Server

I can see that you don't want the 360 controller but why?! It's the best god damn controller I've tried and it's cheap too.

 

 

For emulators? Buy a white snes controller :D

 

Never really liked the 360 controllers at all and I'm used to years of ps controllers.... I would get a old controller that I had if it wasn't that I gave my ps1/2/3/4 consoles to my bros

Get InputMapper if you're getting the DS4. If you go for a DS3, get SCP server. Both solutions work perfectly. SCP server is also compatible with DS4, but InputMapper gets you a lot of extra options.

Oh I see, I may just get the DS4 then, the IM software looks a lot better than the SCP software and the extra features will help

Not really SCP driver is personally made for PS3 and PS4 controllers. No BSOD or crashes really. Not sure about Input mapper due to the fact that they may not work with emulators.

Oh it does work with everything just fine. No BSODs either. It simply makes the PC to recognize the controller as an Xbox 360 one instead of a DirectInput controller.

IM has only had one issue recently on Windows 10, where "exclusive mode", or the option to hide the DirectInput controller completely and have it detected only as an X360 controller, was broken by the Xbox app that comes with the OS. So far that's only been an issue in Dark Souls 1 and 2; that's easily fixed with X360ce.

 

How I wish more devs simply kept using Dinput these days...

I would get a dualshock.

I can't use any other controller really, mainly due to the autistic way I hold them.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

Well, it's an issue on Windows 10 that so far only seems to affect those two games and like Fifa I believe. The issue apparently lies on the Xbox app that comes with Win10, which breaks a feature on IM and DS4Windows called Exclusive Mode.

It only seems to  be an issue with games that have no controller select option or that prioritize Dinput over Xinput, but X360ce solves it.

 

On Win7 and 8.1, it works flawlessly.

Have you tried the Xbox One controller? Hands down best controller I've ever held in my hands, with the PS4 controller coming in a close second. I absolutely love it. Took a while to get used to but it's awesome now imo.

I don't like the big controllers, the ps controllers are a lot better for me but thats just how I feel about them, I like the systems but not the controllers
