I have a GTX 560ti. I was testing my temps in games and stress test programs and I discovered one wierd thing...

So when I play Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, my GPU gets like maximum of 70 degree (It's 100% GPU usage)

But when I stress test my GPU to 100% with special program it gets 89 degree.

So why there is so much difference? Please tell me :D

because whatever stress test program you use has different settings set compared to CoD? like AA? Shadows? More action going on? 100% load constantly?

when you stress-test something, the program puts the card under a constant 100% load.

when gaming, you card is not under a constant 100% load. when you go through menus and stuff, it's under much less of a load.

so it stays cooler.

CoD setting are just like that GPU Usage would be 100% and FPS was around 60. If I wanted to improve settings a litle bit, FPS would have dropped down.

Program I Use:

Geeks3D GpuTest - GPU stress test and OpenGL benchmark.

And that's why I rarely use benchmarks for thermals, due to the fact it leads to fairly higher temps than when gaming thus not a relevant result

very good to test OC's tho

Is it furmark? If I'm not mistaken it increases voltage while stresstesting.

It's furmark I'd imagine but I don't recall it increasing voltage.

It doesn't increase voltage, but it still makes the card consume more power and output more heat than other benchmarks.

That yes - generally furmark is a bad idea - especially on thermi cards

Look, I have one more problem. When I play Cod, my framerate and jumping around from 40 to 90 fps and gpu usage also jumps from like 40 to 100 percent. So why my fps is not stable? It would be great if usage would stay at 100 and framare would be stable at like 90 fps... Maybe Its because I have Only 1 GB of ram  and it's cramped already? cause ram usage is always like max,
