So after hours of troubleshooting and researching this ZLib error this afternoon I finally found a solution that works for me. The Zlib issue was caused by a corrupted file during that download phase.

To fix this, I did the following:

Download WinMD5 from

If crash occurs for one particular mission means some installation error. Try reinstalling and also turn down all your settings. Update drivers and that's it

Iris Graphics 6100 isn't total shit.

All interpreted graphics are bad. Even a pathetic 750ti can outperform them.

Jesus am not even sure that thing can even run GTA V lol. If he had an AMD APU that would be another story. But Intel doesn't have very good playable onboard graphics. Except for a few flash games and stuff

"At one story mission"

I'm guessing this is a Heist. Solution:
Don't use firearms while in vehicles, only on foot. (Sometimes it works fines, but you generally don't need to use one, unless the game specifically tell you to shoot)

If you need to use explosives/throwables, use them from within a vehicle, do not use them on foot, they will bug the game once you switch character.

If you absolutely need to use an explosive, but don't have/cannot use, a vehicle, you can use a Rocket launcher.

Seems strange, but that's it.

And a 750ti is not pathetic by any stance.

APUs are designed to be "somewhat" good. Even then they are bad because any reasonable GPU would out do it.

750Ti is pathetic. Atleast for gaming, If you want a good gaming experience I suggest no less then a 370 even though it's not much better then a 750Ti.

For some applications (eg. small mitx builds) APUs are very useful, especially in laptops.

And the 750ti can do high settings at 1080p, that's pretty decent for the price, not to mention it's efficiency and compactness.

There's your problem. intel integrated GPUs don't support all the graphical elements of games such as GTA.

For example, GTA might ask the graphics card to draw some smoke in an area. On games of old, smoke is literally a bunch of animated transparent smoke images placed intelligently around the burning object, which any graphics card can easily render. With GTAV it's different. If the integrated graphics doesn't understand the instructions GTA is giving it to draw something such as smoke on the screen, the game will crash.

Spoiled? I wish.... I have an A6-3650 that can barely push out 30fps in Farming Simulator 2015... I've been saving money for 5 months and have gotten to $400 from mowing more yards then a kid should, doing more chores then a kid should ect ect.
