Sennheiser HD8 DJ

Does anybody have any thoughts on these headphones? I'm looking into some new headphones for listening to my lossless audio. I mostly listen to classic rock. I like a punchy low-end, but nothing to overly powerful. I really like the way they look.

Any other recommendations within the $300-$350 USD range would be appreciated

I know that those are some pretty usual recomendations, but neither of them are near the budget I have (I'm not paying for them, so I want to get the most for the money)

Well then I would recommend the Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro 250 Ohm version.The 600 ohm version is just to bright sounding but that's just me

For $50 extra I would highly highly recommend the Sennhiesier HD 600.They are the best headphones for almost any type of music since they are the most natural sounding.They are $400 but the Beyerdynamic's are some where around $325.Which ever headphone you get you will need a Amplifier

I've looked at them, and really like the way they look, but i would prefer a closed back design as I listen in public places.

The m50x's look really good. How do they compare to the HD8 DJ?

K712 and K7xx are excellent for rock music, DT880 is one of the most recommended rock and roll headphones below $400-500

M100 are not bad compared to other fashion headphones.

The M50X was the problem.

I think I'm just gonna get the HD8 DJs. I like the way they look, and from linus's review, I think they have the sound I'm looking for
