Upgraded to Windows 10, now my Microphone is borked and distorted

I have the exact same problem and tried everything (new drivers, old drivers, gameblaster, onboard audi), mic keeps distorted no solution.

Same boat here. I've tried every sort of driver I can find. The only thing I HAVEN'T tried is a fresh, clean Windows 10 install. I'm on an upgrade from Windows 7. I really don't want to have to do that because I just don't wanna go through backing up all my crap and everything. I'll get to it eventually I'm just being lazy.

 

For now though, I went ahead and bought an ASUS Xonar DSX 7.1 Sound card. Several pages recommended it as a really good card for the money. My wife just called it my anniversary gift lol. Hopefully the new card solves my problem. I'd still love to see a solution to this problem with the Realtek stuff in case of any future problems with the external card or something.

This is a problem with no solution. Microsoft and realtek/soundblaster need to release a fix.
