I have spare money to spend to building 2nd PC for fun.  I want something that play Japanese's Visual Novel and light games, I need new case come with PSU(don't care if crappy PSU, don't worries.) I can take my old 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 and HDD in. And NO AMD CPU!

This is actually the time where you would want an AMD CPU.

Why not AMD?

You would be best off with a AMD APU. It trashes ANYTHING INTEL OFFERS AT THAT PRICEPOINT.

BRANDLOYALTY IS STUPID IF IT GIVES YOU LESS IN RETURN.

Here you can see how the AMD APUs litterally RAPE intels offerings with intergrated graphics (your best bet at this price range)

Before rebates, i am at 206 USD. you can drop the cooler if you do not want to OC the APU.

Below 450-550 USD, going intel isnt really worth it as no part of the system would ever stretch its legs due to too many bottlenecks. AMD simply ROCKS the sub 550 USD segment for a very good reason too.

200 dollars will barely game.

And with such a low budget, you would probably be best off with an APU which AMD has at this price point...

Conclusion: I can't make anything for 200 dollars and an Intel CPU to game.

Yeah, the AMD A-Series APU would give you much more performance than anything you could get from intel. I understand that Intel may be the best option most of the time but you won't get a "decent" pc for shit at that price range if you go with intel.

again... if he ever wants to play ANY game, then AMD APUs wreck intel no question, ever.

Also, go for a seasonic 350W in low power builds, there is no mail in rebates on it, so the 35.99USD price is what you really pay.

with 350w, you can just barely add in a 750TI. Cannot OC it, but you can add it in and get much better performance in the build

I think I have discovered his problem with AMD

I'm sorry, can't help. I am stuck with AMD for 10 years. I noticed Intel's CPU have no pins on it exchange pins on motherboard, that's big plus. AMD... Well, I was destroying 3 AMD CPUs for last 10 years.... God, I hating AMD CPU pins....

So which CPU Brands is likely more easier to installation, AMD or Intel?

I know.

It like that guy who killed 3 motherboard 1 GPU and broke a FX 6300 so blamed it ALL on amd!!!

despite they ONLY made one of those products and it is somehow AMD's fault.

NO-ONE GETS 3 DOA motherboard, 1 DOA GPU and 1 DOA CPU for 1 computer.

At that pricepoint, intel doesnt make sense.

The pentium series are horrible, and would suck balls if you wanted to say, listen to music and play a game at the same time.

The Core series, aka i3, i5 and i7 is awesome. but outside of your price range.

You should really, either go with a AMD APU, or save your money until you can afford a decent Intel Core i3 4xxx setup. Which will cost you around 400-450 USD since you already have a HDD and RAM.

Will replace.my current AMD A4 3400 APU PC

http://anandtech.com...-amds-a10-7870k

Please read that, two or three times over.

Do you notice the FPS that the G3258 has? the CPU that is above yours?

Do you notice where every AMD APU is on that list?

Do you notice where that 220 USD i5 in relation to the APUs?

The GPU you selected is weaker then what is in todays APUs!!!

Sorry mate, but you can buy intel all you want. Unfortunatly, at any budget under 450-550 USD, Intel/Nvidia is forever THE LEAST SMART CHOICE, PERFORMANCE TO DOLLAR WISE!!!!

EITHER SAVE SOME MORE MONEY, OR BUY AN AMD APU. YOU WONT GET ANY GOOD INTEL AND OR NVIDIA SYSTEM, EVER, UNDER 450 USD

while it may not have much cable management room, i advice you get the Fractal Design Core 1000. As it has USB 3 ports, the case you selected does not.

Also, what speed is the RAM you got already?

1333mhz. *sigh*

with your current AMD APU, you would be better off in general just buying faster RAM. that alone should make it way faster and nippier then it currently is....

like, get 1866 or 2133 RAM and a A6 APU... that alone is way way faster....

how much money do you have at max?

like, if you sold some of your old parts etc?

and what parts CAN you use, other then the HDD (the ram is useless, too little and too slow. So we need something better)
