Has anoyone ever used one of these things? It looks very interesting to me.

Okay after reading a couple of commen sense answers and then adding a bit more though to it...I have finally found the perfect marked, I think.

 

Somebody on the go a lot has spent thousands on high capacity CF cards. He settles down and realises he no longer needs them but doesn't want all the money he spent on CF cards to go to waste.

 

He finds this, throws in his 5 256gb CF cards and has the most diesel external SSD on the block!

That and the box it's self is almost $300. Who the hell would be a target market for such thing? I could understand if there was a guy with a ton of unused CF cards laying around but that's not likely.

There was something similar to that, like a few years ago as well as one where you install M.2 drives on it.

I mean ya. I don't know how many cfast hubs are available but thats the only real use I would have for them.
