It is generally creepy, all forms of monitoring. imo facial scanning technologies take the cake.  If you live in a major metropolitan city (chicago, new york, london etc.)and a a social media junkie (taking selfies and being a general twat) you probably have a very detailed facial profile and can be identified easily at any time.  If that does not disturb you, well you don't value your freedom.

I would be really surprised if they look at the video titles. The data they gather are all numbers, put into graphs and charts, not looked at individually by an employee or something. 

 

But even if they did look at the video titles, why would you care what a random employee who you'll never meet and who sifts through thousands of others with similar stuff thinks about you?

 

I just don't get why people think their "privacy" is being invaded when it's all just anonymous numbers/statistics.

I have to agree all microsoft is doing is getting some random numbers and putting them in charts.It's not even like they use the name of the PC they are stalking.They just randomize the PC into some random number and graph it

If it was anonymous, for statistics and advertisement who will give a f*ck? But it's NOT anonymous (your machine ID is send amongst all other data) and this is BIG problem...

People are freaking out about microsoft tracking your searches and listening to everything you say to cortana but siri records everything you say and sends it to apple, and if you use google chrome or just google they track all your searches... All im worried about is them stealing my files :3

I don't care too much personally. The communication between Windows 10 and Microsoft that the ArsTechnia article mentioned seem harmless and all the excerpts that people post from Microsoft's privacy statement are taken out of context.
