Alright forum members, how many of you lost weight by adjusting your diet and exercising? I went from 76.6kg to 60.0kg over a couple months, lucky I didn't do it so fast otherwise excess skin would of been an issue.

Except my tailbone now hurts (the bottom of your spine next to your butt) I can feel a bone poking out, hurts if I slouch or sit down quickly. After further research, apparently due to weight loss, I've lost my bum cusion, only way to bring it back is by putting on weight which sounds crap or sitting on cushioned stuff, may take a while to heal.

I envy those who lost weight with no issues what so ever.

Does any other member experience this?

Wish I could of done that, except the opposite result happens.

also keep in mind, your google may not be to loose weight, (depending what you weight thats bad), you want to reduce the amount of fat.  You could gain weight and still be getting healthier. mass of Muscle>Fat

I'm coming up on 6 months and I've dropped from 130KG to 95KG.

The first 25 or so were dropped just by adjusting diet, I'm hoping excess skin wont be too much of an issue for me.

Losing lots of weight is so insanely expensive clothes wise

I'm not fat or skinny IMO.

The formula to weight loss is a even mix of determination, a proper healthy diet and 30-1:30 min of exercise everyday.

I use this some days lol and that's why my weight doesn't go up neither down.

I am trying to gain now simply for muscle.

I've had a minor issue with my knee but that's due to aggravating an old Rugby injury when a stud went boot deep between my shin / kneecap by smashing my foot into a pile of cases while walking.

Overall I've got a lot more energy and a little more self confidence although it would be hard for it to go down xD

Listen up peeps, here's a fact people completley overlook:

Caloric surplus (more calories than you burn) = weight gain

Caloric deficit (less calories than you burn) = weight loss

That's weight loss in two sentences.

Simple.

(that is more aimed at others, rather than the original post)

I lost 15 kg in a month, but i wouldn't recomend an addiction to amphetamines and morphine as a way to diet...Got crazy skinny tho, now i'm back to normal, waiting for the right time to start exercising and eating better.

For healthy weight loss, yes.

I wasn't suggesting people just consume like half of what they burn, that would dangerous; more just outlining the fact that to lose weight, you must be in a caloric deficit and to gain weight you must be in a caloric surplus.

I would add that not all calories are the same. You can't have vodka red bulls and burgers and think it's ok cause you still have a caloric deficit by not eating properly.

My body seems to know when to use the right amount of energy. Don't gain or lose weight unless I change something drastically. I'm 60kg as well.

Again, i wasn't suggest that only being in a caloric deficit is fine and healthy, and you can just eat a Big Mac and Red Bull all day :P Of course, that is not that way to lose weight at all. More the fact that even people who think they're eating healthy (you know, big portions of pasta, mountains of mayo) and are still in a caloric surplus, won't lose weight.

I was able to lose about 25 pounds (roughly 11.3 KG) over a year just by adjusting my diet. I counted calories five days a week then took two days each week to eat whatever I cared to. It made for a much longer process, but I also didn't quit doing it for about a year and a half.

As a side note, I had a blood test at my doctor's office and she told me that I needed to eat more protein. Best news ever right!?
