So im getting a new mouse soon and im looking for some recommendations, i use a claw grip and i play some MMO's so it would be nice to have several buttons on the side so i can activate abilities quickly, i have no real budget, if its a good mouse im willing to pay for it. It doesent need to be wireless.

For swtor, nothing touches the Naga. I can tell you straight out that 9/10 nightmare players use one (having been one in two different world first/second guilds over the course of a year and a half), because it really is the best for mmo's. Not cheap though.

I don't know if it's just me but I would never recommend a Razer Mouse, let alone a Naga.  I've heard horrible reviews about it, and just because a lot of people have one doesn't meant that it's good or that you should get it.  I've also tried it at Best Buy and I didn't like it, so it's more than just reviews that are backing up my claim.

Corsair has a new mouse that is RGB and has an optical sensor. Check it out.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

I don't mean to be rude here, but if you are not a mmorpg guy I really wouldn't expect you to understand the amazeballs of it. I would take all the testimonies from fellow raiders over randoms any day of the week, and they are nearly universal. See the vessel review from Edzel to and note that the naga is to mmorpg's as the finalmouse is to cs:go (except better constructed).

I do own one, and perhaps that makes me biased, but it IS the mmo mouse still to this day (even though the genre is struggling a bit atm.)

@theereal if thats the case then honestly get the one that feels best at a store, but just saying there isn't another genre that actually uses those 15+ key binds....

I don't think a mouse can beat a mech keyboard in MMO's. Might aswell get a G502 and bind the extra buttons for spamclicking your food and potions but not abilities. Sadly haven't played a MMO in years, except Runescape 3

Open your eyes and break your chains. Console peasantry is just a state of mind.

You use both. Keyboard travel takes too long for MMO's to be used exclusively (and having played RS for 10 years, that click based MMO is beyond archaic and doesn't need anything other than a two button mouse lol). Also limited key binds within reach so if you use keyboard modifiers along with the naga setup you have basically infinite key binds without moving your hand (which is obviously the point).

Plus if you want to be a casual and only use a few key binds then the naga lets you play one handed and well... you know what gamers do then...

Are you telling me that the Naga is better constructed than the Finalmouse...  And either ways, IMO Zowie is better than the Finalmouse (people are gonna disagree with me xD), so to me you're saying that there are better things than the Naga :D

I was going off of Edzel's impression of the finalmouse. I haven't used it.

I personally think that the Naga is as well built as any mouse I have used (but maybe I just got lucky.)

I haven't seen a real legitimate competitor to the naga before the spectre was announced eariler, and while that thing definitely isn't my thing, I am interested to see how it holds up.

I've heard that the Corsair Scimitar is decent for an MMORPG mouse even though it doesn't look the best.

Sorry that's the one I was taking about. But that mouse is also brand new so we will see how it works out.
