Should I build or buy?

I am looking for a new pc to stream my ps4, xbox one gameplay to twitch via xsplit software. I have read the minimum requirements and have come up with this:

Anyways dell has has an xps 8700 already built with everything I have listed minus a better gpu. Other than that mine and theirs are pretty much the same. I have a lot of questions but this will do.

My Budget is roughly 80O us dollars with no monitors or peripherals. I'm wanting to run 2 monitors which is why I chose this gpu. I'm not going to game on this but I might try modding fallout 4 when it releases.

i think you can go with an i5 and get a better gpu instead

you could probably use an ssd too

 

a geforce 740 for 90 bucks is fairly expensive

you can get a used geforce 760 / r9 280 for around $120 and both of whcih would give you a lot better performance in general

Get the OS from http://reddit.com/r/microsoftsoftwareswap it's about $20 there instead of $100. (I got 8 pro from there and it has worked perfectly)

I wouldnt recommend anything slower than a 960. You will regret the 740, its weak. What other people have said, get an i5 instead of an i7.

you can find 8.1 pro dirt cheap on reddit softwareswap or g2a. buy it there and do a free clean install of win 10

for just streaming and not much gaming an i7 that you first chose is overkill. i went with an unlocked one just because. An i5 is the better choice since it isn't very demanding work
