I got a few fingerprints on my cpu. What can I use to clean my CPU? Would 70% Rubbing Alcohol be okay?

That would work as long as it's isopropyl alcohol or pure rubbing alcohol with no additives.

Why? and would that remove the Thermal compound?

Rubbing alcohol(preferably 70% or stronger iirc) and coffee filters are the best imo.

Fingerprint can create oil on CPU heatspreader that will affects the thermal conductivity between the CPU heatspreader and the cooler.
